Sound and Color
Print mixing is absolutely terrifying.
The key is picking out colors within the prints to unify the two, or more. If more, you go, you daring narwhal, you. Here, the blue within the crop top matched to the blue within the seersucker skirt. I tried to bring the shoes into the ensemble with the same navy. The bag's green also ties into the multicolor top.
Skirt
I'm fairly sure this was supposed to sit on the hips, but having a short torso makes for a whole lot of high waisted pieces.
Store/Brand: LOFT
Shirt
Today was such a windy day, I wanted to wear something that would carry movement in it.
I have zero clue what the store's name was, and it doesn't really matter, because you can find this same silly pink chiffon shirt basically anywhere. I accept this one because its subtler pink is less common than the vivid neons popular right now. Also, it was only five euros in a random store in Rovereto, Italy, and I'll take anything from Italy for five euros. Except their horrible gender inequality.
Brand: United Colors of Benetton
Multi-Colored Crop Top
This has no brand name. It was from a little 60's apparel thrift store in Florence, near Via di Mezzo. With no tags at all, I have a hope that it's actually a hand sewn piece. Those finds make me so happy; no machine can imitate human hands.
Bag
This is actually my first time using this bag. It's helping me get over my fear of utilizing vivid colors.
Store: Tallulah's
Brand: Kate Spade
