Stilettos In The Rain
I'd like to take this moment to point out that any shoe made of patent leather works as a rain boot, these Chinese Laundry heels included.
When it comes to hem length and heel height, I strictly adhere to the inverse proportion rule. The longer the hem, the higher the heel; the shorter the hem, the lower the heel. To avoid straying into the realm of 1950s poodle skirts, I keep the heel as high as possible with midi skirts. That being said, the MOST IMPORTANT element of fashion is mental/physical comfort. You should first figure out what makes you feel best, in terms of looks and feeling. That's what "Style" is. Embrace your own unique point of view!
Anyway, ask me who I'm wearing.
