Little black dresses are always in season.

I'm pretty sure this thing was supposed to be a slip, but anything as flattering as this, with so many lovely subtle details, deserves to be worn as a focus piece. Quality clothing can be distinguished from cheap factory clothing based on the little bits of work- extra pleating, lace lining, embroidery, beading. Tailoring is the most important factor. Most garments today are made with minimal attention to detail- ruffles on only the front of a shirt, skirts always seeming too tight because the industry is attempting to save dough via reducing the amount of fabric used. A dress like this, I'd pay big money for. Side note: I only paid 15 dollars.
